Security bars and security meshes

A security bar or a security mesh are used on commercial premises where permanent security is required.

Security Meshes

The security mesh is usually installed to commercial premises to prevent entry by smashing of windows. It can prevent handles or door latches being operated through broken glazing. Also it offers a cost-effective and lightweight alternative to bars and collapsible gates.

A variation to security mesh is a galvanised square mesh fitted externally to premises to protect them from vandalism in the form of stones and bricks.

Fixed Security Bars

Security Bars are used on commercial premises where high security is required to windows or glazing to doors. Usually, to areas where the permanent nature of the product is not an issue. In windows where blinds are installed a security bar can be surprisingly unobtrusive and offer the highest level of security. Where access is required either a hinged gate or a collapsible gate should be used.

Specification of security bars varies upon circumstances. Advance Security Screening provide security bars from 12- 19mm square or round. Also unique designs can be fabricated and scroll work added to suit customers tastes.
